Middle Road & St. Mary’s Road [Cedar Hill Road] Junction In Warwick

Emergency Road Closure For Belco Trench Work

Saturday, August 7th, 2021 Through Sunday, August 9th, 2021

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform the motoring public that BELCO’s trench work has reached the Middle Road and St. Mary’s Road junction and in order to crossover, the trench work will require a road closure.

This road closure will take place Saturday, August 7th, 2021 through Sunday, August 9th, 2021. Working hours will be from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily.

Traffic controls will be under the direction of Intelligent Trenching representatives and will be managed through traffic control signals and signage.

The motoring public traveling west is advised to seek alternative routes via Khyber Pass to South Road or via Longford Road to Harbour Road to avoid the trench work sections. The motoring public traveling east is advised to seek alternative routes via Tamarind Vale Street to Harbour Road or Camp Hill to South Road to avoid the trench work sections. Various detour routes signage will be placed.

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.

Should there be any questions regarding the BELCO trench works, please direct them to the attention of Jonathan Pedro, Project Manager for BELCO at 295-5111 ext. 1441.
