Aiming to provide the community with a different view of Bermuda, Bernews’ new monthly series features 3D images that serve to showcase Bermuda and Bermudians from a different perspective, and the images from July 2021 are below.

They are posted throughout the month on a new @Bermuda3D Instagram account, and this month’s 3D photos include Bermuda’s Olympic Gold Medalist Flora Duffy, Olympic rower Dara Alizadeh, Zeiko Lewis in action during a Gold Cup game against Barbados, Dr Carika Weldon at the MDL Lab opening, Cup Match Captains Onias Bascome and Jordan Desilva, the Princesse Des Airs art, and the super-yacht Lucky Lady.

Bermuda has earned a new distinction — being the smallest nation in the world to ever win a Gold Medal at the Summer Olympics — thanks to a first class showing from Flora Duffy who recorded a dominant win at the Tokyo Olympics. This 3D look at Flora Duffy was posted in advance of her historic win, and shows her at one of her past victories, when she won the WTS in Bermuda.
