Police Confirm: Man Shot In St David’s

A 22 year old St. George’s man was “shot multiple times” in St David’s this evening [Aug 27] the police have confirmed.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 5:35pm on 27th August, Police and first responders attended Orange Hole Road, St David’s to a report of a shooting.

“On arrival, it was ascertained that a 22 yr old St. George’s man had been shot multiple times.

“He was conveyed to KEMH for treatment of his injuries and the status of his condition is not known at this time.

“This incident took place in broad daylight and there would have been residents about the area.

“Anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area, is encouraged to contact police on 211 or the confidential Crimestoppers number 800-8477.”
