Harbour Rd Section To Briefly Close For Repairs
The section of Harbour Road between Highwood Lane and Lover’s Lane in Paget will briefly close to all traffic on Thursday to “facilitate a concrete pour for the new wall construction.”
A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works wishes to advise the public that on Thursday, Aug 19, 2021, between 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, the section of Harbour Road located between Highwood Lane and Lover’s Lane in Paget will briefly close to all traffic to facilitate a concrete pour for the new wall construction.
“The Ministry will provide traffic controls at the following junctions:
- Harbour Road and Chapel Road;
- Chapel Road and Middle Road;
- Middle Road and Lovers Lane; and
- Lovers Lane and Harbour Road.
“Road users are advised to detour onto Middle Road and South Road during this time.
“The Ministry of Public Works encourages everyone’s full cooperation, apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.”
That wall won’t be repaired before the next major storm.
