Harbour Rd Section To Briefly Close For Repairs
The Ministry of Public Works is advising that “weather permitting, on Tuesday, September 28 from 9.15am to 2.00pm, the section of Harbour Road located between Highwood Lane and Lover’s Lane in Paget will briefly close to all traffic to facilitate a concrete pour for the new wall construction.”
A Government spokesperson said, “Road users are advised to detour onto Middle Road and South Road during this time as traffic will not be allowed to pass. The Ministry of Public Works encourages everyone’s full cooperation and apologizes in advance for any inconvenience that may result.”
Works & Engineering have made a 3 week job into 3 months. A private firm would have had this finished months ago.
Bermuda on its knees and we waste thousands of hours – think of the productivity lost.
Nobody in Government seems the least but concerned, do they all live on the East of the Island?
Definitely going to go pass my original date of Valentine’s day for completition.
