Sydney Fischer Scores In Blair Academy Victory
Sydney Fischer and her Blair Academy Varsity Field Hockey teammate’s dream start to the season continued as they won their third game in a row to start the season, this time defeating Newton by a score of 3 – 2.
Newton took the lead when Julia Decker scored in the 17th minute, but Ali Frazer drew Blair level when she scored in the 19th minute.
Fischer gave Blair the 2 – 1 lead when she scored in the 30th minute, which was the only goal of the second period.
Sidney Pavlishin drew Newton level when she scored in the 56th minute, and Maddie Miller scored the game-winner in the 59th minute to earn Blair the win.
