BCB Announces CG Insurance Partnership

October 29, 2021

The Bermuda Cricket Board [BCB] announced a partnership with CG Insurance for the upcoming 2021 ICC Men’s T20 Regional Qualifier taking place from November 5 through 15.

A spokesperson said, ”With this sponsorship, the BCB was able to purchase playing shirts — manufactured by the international sporting brand, Kappa.”

Naz Farrow, CEO of CG Insurance said: “At CG, we are committed to building healthy, active lifestyles by uniting people together in sport and believe in BCB’s vision to develop sustainable cricket structures that connect people and their communities. We’re proud to support Bermuda as they compete in Antigua and look forward to their future success.”

Brian Richardson, Team Manager, said: “I wish to thank CG for their sponsorship, without such it would be difficult for the squad to represent Bermuda. “The team has been training three to five times a week since August and have developed a kinship that we haven’t seen for a long time.

Head Coach, Herbie Bascome, Assistant Coach Clay Smith and Analyst, Lorenzo Tucker under the guidance of consultant, Gus Logie, have put the players through some gruelling sessions and they have been very receptive”.

BCB President, Arnold Manders added: “On behalf of the Bermuda Cricket Board and the entire cricket fraternity I would like to welcome CG Insurance on board and extend our sincere gratitude for becoming a sponsor of our Senior Men’s National Team. We also look forward to a prosperous future together.”
