Halloween-Themed Heartbeats Lecture Series
The Department of Culture will host a special Halloween-themed Bermudian Heartbeats Lecture Series titled ‘Haunting Bermuda: Chilling Stories from the Isles of Devils’ on Friday [Oct 29].
A Government spokesperson said, “This Friday, the Department of Culture will host a special Halloween-themed Bermudian Heartbeats Lecture Series – ‘Haunting Bermuda: Chilling Stories from the Isles of Devils.
“Taking place via live stream at 8.00pm, participants include:
- Mr. John Cox, co-author Bermuda’s Favourite Haunts
- Ms. Kristin White, author and tourguide of Haunted Histories
- Mr. Alex Winfield, puppeteer; and
- Mr. Rajai Denbrook, storyteller
“The event will be featured on CITV [WoW ch. 102 / OneComm ch. 2] and live streamed via the Department of Culture’s Facebook and YouTube pages.
“Please join us for a spooky evening of Bermuda’s best story-telling. Stories of the ghostly and eerie will be shared by John Cox and Kristin White from the historic lanes of St. George’s.
“Rajai Denbrook brings to life the folktales from Florenz Maxwell’s The Spirit Baby & Other Bermudian Folktales. This live stream event is free to the public.”
