102,468 Total Vaccinations, 71.5% Had One Dose
As of November 20th, Bermuda has administered a total of 102,468 vaccinations and 71.5% of the population has received one dose, 70.2% have had two doses, while 16.9% of the population has also received a booster.
A Government spokesperson said, “We have completed week 45 of vaccinations. Since January 11th, Bermuda has administered a total of 102,468 vaccinations. Of the 102,468 vaccinations given as of November 20:
- 52% are women and,
- 48% are men
“86.5% of all residents over the age of 65 years have had at least one vaccination, and 85.3% are fully immunized.
“To date, 71.5% of the population has been vaccinated [1 dose], and 70.2% of the population has been immunized [2 doses]. “Additionally, 16.9% of the population have received a booster.”
Minister of Health Kim Wilson, said, “The booster vaccine is now available to anyone 18 years of age or older who has had their second COVID vaccination dose a minimum of 6 months ago. Anyone 65 and older can walk into Pier 6, Monday to Friday, for a booster.
“You can book an appointment on gov.bm by selecting ‘Book a Booster Vaccine Appointment’. Alternatively, individuals can call the Vaccination Hotline at 444-2498 [option #2] or email vaccine@gov.bm. For those who are 65 and older, they can walk into Pier 6, Monday to Friday, for a booster.”
The Government spokesperson said, “Avoid the three “Cs”: closed spaces, crowded places, and close contact settings to decrease the odds of getting the coronavirus.
“Each of us has a role to play in stopping the spread of the coronavirus. Follow Public Health guidelines, wear a mask indoors, practice good hand hygiene, maintain physical distance and download the WeHealth Bermuda app.”

Had enough of the anti-vaxxers, time to do what Europe is doing, restrict where they can go.
Or we can be like Gibraltar, have 100% eligible people vaccinated, and after all that. Still have positive cases and people being hospitalized. Dont forget to schedule your appointment for your booster shot.
