2021 Throne Speech To Be Held On Friday
The Throne Speech — which outlines the Government’s Legislative Agenda for the year ahead — will be read this Friday, November 5th.
Yesterday’s [Nov 1] Official Notice said, “Now Therefore I, the Governor, acting in accordance with the advice which I have received from the Premier, do appoint that, at the next session of the Legislature, the Senate and the House of Assembly shall meet on the Fourth Floor of Veritas Place, 65 Court Street in the City of Hamilton;
“And I do further appoint that the next session of the Legislature shall commence at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, the 5th day of November, two thousand and twenty-one.”
Last year’s Throne Speech saw a special sitting in St George’s to mark the 400th anniversary of the first General Assembly being established in Bermuda in 1620.
