Bermuda Arts Centre’s ‘Small Works’ Show
The Bermuda Arts Centre will open its annual ‘Small Works’ show on Friday [Nov 19] from 5.30pm to 7.00pm at the Washington Mall.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Arts Centre’s annual ‘Small Works’ opens this Friday.
“We love this show. It is open to our artists to enter anything they wish, the only rule being that nothing can be larger than 8″x10″ [for paintings this is unframed size]. This offers a freedom to the artist and also a lower price line to the buyer with small works available.
“This show is nothing short of impressive with work in all media submitted. Paintings, ceramics, jewelry and mixed media. There is guaranteed to be something for everyone in this show. It is a wonderful opportunity for Christmas gifts.
“We invite all to our opening, which will be held at the ‘Wall of Words’ in the Washington Mall – Church Street entrance above the staircase leading to Beluga Bar.
“As a give back to our valued supporters and buyers, we are offering 10% off all sales for this night only, so don’t miss out on a chance to own a beautiful piece of Bermuda art at a very reasonable price.
“The show opens at 5.30pm this Friday [November 19] and will be removed at the end of the evening at 7.00pm. One can still see and purchase artwork as we move our show to The Bermuda Arts Centre in Dockyard. Take advantage of our 10% off before this happens.
“For any questions, The Bermuda Arts Centre is open every day from 11.00am to 4.00pm; call 534 2809 or email bermudaartscentre@gmail.com.”
