Appleby has welcomed Karim Creary and Kiara Wilkinson to its two-year legal trainee programme, which involves “completing four, six-month seats in various practice groups including the Corporate, Dispute Resolution and Private Client & Trusts departments.”

A spokesperson said, “Trainees are called to the Bermuda Bar halfway through the programme, after completing their first two seats, in year one.

“The programme provides trainees with a thorough legal foundation and introduces them to a variety of practice areas and sectors, which helps them identify areas they wish to specialise in the future. Each trainee is assigned a senior attorney, often a partner, as a mentor in every seat throughout the two-year programme.
