Hockey: Ravens Win, Islanders & Pirates Draw
A field hockey double-header took place at the National Sports Center, with a total of 5 goals scored.
Ravens 2 – Pink Robins 1
The Ravens edged the Pink Robins 2 – 1 in the opener. The Pink Robins took the lead in the 19th minute with a field goal off the stick of Jennifer Chisnall, ten minutes later the Ravens were level when Tiara Corriea scored a field goal. The winner came in the 58th minute as Fabiola Adams scored for the Ravens from a penalty corner.
Islanders 1 – Pirates 1
In the nightcap, the Islanders and the Pirates played to a 1 – 1 draw. The Islanders took the lead in the 14th minute when Jayden Pacheco scored a field goal, but the Pirates drew level in the 39th minute when Samuel Thompson scored a field goal.
