Nesbeth & Florida State Advance In Tournament
LeiLanni Nesbeth and her No. 1 ranked Florida State teammates defeated South Alabama 3 – 0 at the Seminole Soccer Complex.
Florida State took the lead in the 24th minute, Jaelin Howell received a pass from Nesbeth and drove into the box, the ball eventually fell to Jody Brown who’s shot was deflected into the back of the net.
In the 27th minute Florida State struck again, Yujie Zhao received the ball and her first-time pass found Beata Olsson who was charging down the center of the box poking the ball into the empty net.
In the 83rd minute, Florida State secured the insurance goal, with Emily Madril scoring from close range.
