Tennis: Phillips Advances In ATP Tournament
Daniel Phillips advanced in the Pre-Qualifying Survivor ATP Wildcard Event in Florida.
Phillips played two matches in the first day of the qualifiers and won both matches. The Bermudian tennis player defeated Christopher Lirola in straight sets 6-0, 6-1 in the Round of 64, and he then took on Nicholas Fontecha in the Round of 32 where he picked up another straight set win 6-1, 6-3.
