RA Issues Emergency General Determination
The Regulatory Authority [RA] has issued an Emergency General Determination [EGD] for the electronic communications sector, with immediate effect.
A spokesperson said, “To encourage competition and innovation in regulated sectors and to be consistent with the purposes of the Electronic Communications Act 2011, the Regulatory Authority [RA] has issued an Emergency General Determination [EGD] for the electronic communications sector, with immediate effect.
“The EGD creates obligations for interconnection and interoperability which specifically applies to Communications Operating Licence [COL] holders. For further details regarding the EGD, visit the RA’s website at www.ra.bm.”
