Deloitte Donates $20,000 To Family Centre
A $20,000 donation from Deloitte Bermuda will see 13 Family Centre families receive an “all-inclusive holiday cheer experience.”
A spokesperson said, “With the help of a $20,000 donation from Deloitte Bermuda, 13 Family Centre families will receive an all-inclusive holiday cheer experience. The funds purchased gifts, including Christmas stockings for each family member, electricity and grocery vouchers, as well as a holiday meal for each family.

“Family Centre is an internationally accredited Bermuda charity. Founded in 1990, they have provided critical intervention services to children suffering from emotional, social, behavioural, and trauma-based challenges since 1996.
“Through specialized programs and prevention initiatives, Family Centre provides families with the skills they need to succeed and maintain for future generations. Their services are available to families in need who meet the criteria.”
Susan Richardson, Director of Counselling Services, said, “Deloitte’s donation of $20,000 towards 13 Family Centre client families in our ‘Adopt A Family’ holiday giving initiative has again moved us deeply. We continue to humbled by this level of giving for families in need.

Rachelle Frisby, Partner, and Co-Chair of the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, said, “Our staff were excited to be a part of the Family Centre’s Adopt A Family program. WorldClass programs like this enable our team to make a difference. Every year, our team split into groups, and together they purchase gifts for a family including wish list items.
“This year’s wish lists included toy cars/trucks, sports equipment, puzzles, games, books, and arts and crafts. After purchasing the gifts, the teams thoughtfully wrapped each one, including items for the stockings.”
