Regulation 26[d] National Occupational Certification Regulations 2008

Electricians

Pursuant to Section 8 of the National Occupational Certification Act 2004, the Minister of Labour, Community Affairs and Sports has granted National Occupational Certificates in the occupation of Electrician to the persons listed below.

The certification deems that the persons have completed the requirements and achieved the standards established by the National Training Board of Bermuda and the National Electrical Code 2014. These persons are now entitled to engage in the occupation of Electrician and to use the title “Nationally Certified” for a period of five years.

Manor House Bridge

Harrington Sound Road, Hamilton Parish

Road Closure Remains In Effect Throughout The Holiday Period

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists that the ongoing BELCO trenching project on Harrington Sound Road has come to a halt for the holiday period. Harrington Sound Road near Manor House Bridge will remain closed for safety reasons. Works will resume in the New Year, and continue through to January 18, 2022.

This road closure on Harrington Sound Road from Town Hill Road to Lolly’s Well Road continues until Tuesday, January 18, 2022.

As the open trench is along the road centerline reduing the eastbound lane, there will be no vehicle access granted to allow for traffic to pass under the Manor House Bridge. This is for the safety of the public and the integrity of the bridge.
Residents to Manor House will have access via Middle Road
All traffic will be rerouted via Middle Road or Harrington Hundreds Road
Traffic control will be designated with traffic control signs and water filled barricades.

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the public and apologized for any inconvenience that may result.
