Phillips Advances To Semi-Finals On Boca Tour
Daniel Phillips was back in action competing on the Battle of Boca Tour in Florida.
Phillips took to the court for his round of 16 match against Stefano Liokossis from Canada, with the pair battling in a three-setter.
Liokossis won the first set 6-4, but Phillips bounced back to win the second set 6-4.
In the third set tie-breaker, Phillips emerged victorious by winning 10 – 8.
The Bermudian tennis player advanced to the quarter-finals and was scheduled to face off against Oscar Mesquida Berg from Spain; because Berg was injured in his round of 16 match and was unable to take to the court, Phillips advanced to the semi-finals.
