Presidents Cup Cycling Road Race On Sunday
The Bermuda Bicycle Association’s annual Presidents Cup road race will be held tomorrow morning and will include most of all of the island’s current cycling stars.
A spokesperson said, “Included in the current registration list is defending cup holder Dominique Mayho, Kaden Hopkins, Conor White, Nic Narraway, Zander Miller, Liam Flannery, Tyler Smith, Caitlin Conyers and Liana Medeiros.
“We are expecting a field of just over 30 riders who will leave from Harbour Road in Paget and go through Hamilton, out to North Shore Road all the way into St. David’s, then head west along South Road to Dockyard and then return on Middle Road to Manse Road and Harbour Road for the finish.
“The 56 mile course takes in almost all sections of Bermuda other than St. George where roadworks are continuing through the holidays. Having all the big guns home at the same time is an incredible opportunity to showcase the depth of cycling talent Bermuda currently has. The race starts at 7:30am and we expect the leaders to finish around 9:45am.”
