BASA Hold Winter Long Course Qualifier

The Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association hosted their first Winter Long Course Qualifier of 2022 at the National Sports Center.

Tayla Horan won the women’s 15 & Over 100 LC meter freestyle touching the wall in a time of 1:04.63, Taylor White was second in 1:05.14, and Bella Howes finished third with a time of 1:05.86.

The 13-14 boys 100 LC meter freestyle saw Thomas Cechini clock a winning time of 1:00.12, Nathan Burrill was second in 1:02.27, and Seth Samuels finished third with a time of 1:04.03.

Violet Smith won the 11-12 girls 50 LC meter freestyle touching the wall in a time of 32.77, Somers Estwanik was second in 32.92, and Sienna Spurling finished third with a time of 33.21.

The 11–12 boys 100 LC meter backstroke winner was Nayland Harris who clocked 1:27.63, Logan Jones was second with a time of 1:28.45, and Joseph Lau finished third with a time of 1:32.12.
