Rugby: BRFU Weekend Match Results
The Bermuda Rugby Football Union hosted a number of matches at the National Sports Center this weekend.
The Mariners Women and the Renegades Women drew 12 – 12,. The Renegades got tries from Jess Cassidy, and Jackie Oliver, with Cassidy kicking her conversion, while Lysmieri Santana and Nisaiah Berkely scored a try each for the Marines, with Santana kicking her conversion.
The Police Women defeated the Teachers Women 22 – 5. The Police Women got two tries from Anna Huchinson, with Elicia Bullock, and Barbara McWhitter adding a try each, while Fiona Donaldson kicked one conversion for the Police, Corrie Cross scored the lone try for the Teachers.
The Onions defeated the Limeys 42 – 31, Alex Dowling led the Onions with 3 tries, Jakee Francis added 2 tries, with Scott Clarke scoring the other, David Lunn kicked all 6 conversions for Onions. Robin Brickle scored 3 tries and kicked 3 conversions to lead the Limeys, while Connor McGlynn and Nigel Burgess added 1 try each for Limeys.
