Desmond And Ingham Compete In Philadelphia
An college swim meet in the U.S had two Bermuda swimmers in action on opposing teams, as Brian Desmond and his Fordham men’s swimming & diving team took on Caleb Ingham and his La Salle University swimming & diving teammates in Philadelphia.
Desmond and his teammates were defeated by Ingham and teammates by 150-136.
Ingham swam the anchor leg for the La Salle 200 yard medley relay B team that finished 5th with a time of 1:40.52, he swam to a second place finish in the 50 yard freestyle touching the wall in a time of 21.86 and during the 100 yard freestyle, Ingham finished 5th with a time of 50.86.
Desmond took to the pool to compete in the 1000 yard freestyle finishing 4th with a time of 11:00.73,and in the 500 yard freestyle he clocked a time of 5:15.90 finishing 5th.
Desmond swam the second leg for the Fordham boys 400 yard freestyle relay B team that finished 4th clocking 3:22.92, while Ingham swam the first leg for the La Salle B team that finished 5th clocking 3:25.54.
