Man Arrested: Warrant, Disqualified, Knife, Drugs
A 26-year-old man — who had an outstanding warrant, was disqualified from driving and was in “possession of a knife and small amount of suspected controlled drugs” — was arrested yesterday on East Broadway.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 5:20pm, on Wednesday, 26-Jan-2022, Police were conducting Operation Vega exercises on East Broadway, when they stopped a motorcycle clocked at 60kph.
“Further checks revealed, the 26-year-old male, rider, had an outstanding warrant and was disqualified from driving.
“He was also found in possession of a knife and small amount of suspected controlled drugs.
“The suspect was subsequently arrested and detained.”
That must be his mate who did a similar thing last week – Dumb & Dumber
