BASA Holds Third Swimming Meet Of 2022

The Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association hosted their third swimming meet of 2022 this weekend.

After back-to-back long course events at the National Sports Center, the action moved to the BASA Pool for the BASA Series #1 short course event.

Jesse Washington swam to victory in the men’s 15 & over 50 SC meter butterfly touching the wall in a time of 26.87, Brandon Adkins was second in 28.56, and Adriano Rymon-Lipinski was third clocking 36.79.

The women’s 15 & over 50 SC meter freestyle was won by Tayla Horan who clocked a personal best time of 28.27, with Adriana Argent finishing also in a personal best time of 29.47.

Nayland Harris won the 11-12 boys 50 SC meter freestyle clocking a personal best time of 32.98, Logan Jones was second he also had a personal best time of 33.01, and finishing third with a personal best time of 33.12 was Jacob Wright.

Marleigh Howes won the 13-14 girls 100 SC meter IM touching the wall in a time of 1:13.68, Ava Pedro 1was second with a personal best time of 1:14.57, and Flora Betts finished third with a personal best time of 1:20.63.
