BASA Hold Short Course Swimming Meet

The Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association hosted their second Short Course Swim Meet of the season at the BASA Pool.

Katherine Wheddon won the 11-12 Girls 100 SC meter freestyle touching the wall in a time of 1:09.39, Violet Smith was second in 1:11.11, and Lauren Post finished third with a personal best time of 1:15.46.

The women’s 15 & over 100 SC meter freestyle was won by Tayla Horan with a personal best time of 1:01.00, Taylor White was second in 1:01.41, and Caitlin Coleman finished third with a time of 1:06.39.

Myeisha Sharrieff won the women’s 15 & over 50 SC meter backstroke clocking a time of 30.98, Caitlin Coleman finished second in 35.57, and Daria Desmond finished third in a personal best time of 36.14.

The 11 -12 boys 100 SC meter IM was won by Noah Maranzana who clocked a personal best time of 1:20.75, Nayland Harris was second in a personal best time of 1:24.67.

Carter Bernard won the 13-14 boys 100 SC meter breaststroke touching the wall in a time of 1:20.73, Braxton Cooze finished second in a personal best time of 1:29.83, and Jackson Langley finished third with a personal best time of 1:40.54.

The 11-12 boys 50 SC meter butterfly was won by Logan Jones who clocked a personal best time of 36.79, Jacob Wright was second in a personal best time of 36.87, and Jasper Lau finished third with a personal best time of 46.27.
