BNAA Hosts Mini Track Meet With Six Events
The Bermuda National Athletics Association hosted a mini track meet at the Flora Duffy National Sports Center South Field.
A total of five track events took place and one field event.
Tiara Derosa won the women discus throw with a top toss of 43.20m, while Jaeda Grant won the women 800 meter run clocking a time of 2:25.46, just missing out on the under 17 girls Carifta standard time of 2:23.00.
Sancho Smith missed out on the Carifta under 20 men’s 800 meter run standard time of 1:55.00, when he won the event clocking 2:00.08.
