Golf: Four-Ball Championships Gets Underway
The Bermuda Four-Ball Championships got underway on Saturday [Feb 5] at Port Royal Golf Course.
A spokesperson said, “The wind was a little stronger than forecast and provided some challenging conditions for the players.
“In the Men’s Championship Division, Jarryd Dillas and Damian Palanyandi are the overnight leaders with a 1-under par 70. They are followed by the team of Spencer Wideman and Mike McCrimmon who recorded an even par 71.
“In the Ladies Championship Division, Ebonie Cox and Tracy Nash are holding the lead after shooting a 75 with Katrin Burnie and Linda Down close behind with a 79.
“In the Senior Men’s Division, David Pickering and Gary Carr have a one stroke lead over Craig Christensen and Luis Gerardo after shooting a 4-over par 75.
“In all divisions, the scoring is very close and bodes well for an exciting conclusion today. Please click here to view the Round 1 results.”
