Golf: Junior Championships Set For July
Ocean View Golf Course head professional Brian Morris recently announced the ICS Tires Cobra Puma Junior Championships.
Mr. Morris said the junior event was something he thought of and, with the help of Ebonie Cox, who runs the Bermuda Golf Association Development program, they came up with a plan to host a tournament at the Ocean View Golf Course.
The ICS Tires Cobra Puma Junior Championships will be played on July 7th and 8th, with registration to be held on July 6th.
Up to 50 juniors will compete in the 11-13, 14-16, Open Girls, and Under-19 Age Groups Divisions.
The tournament is sponsored by Zane DeSilva, who said, “I tend to support a lot of events in Bermuda, especially when it comes to our youth. In fact, Brian asked me would I be a part sponsor and I said I’d just do the whole thing because it’s important, especially in this day in time.
