SailGP Info Session For Vendors Today & Feb 28
The Bermuda Economic Development Corporation [BEDC] has partnered with SailGP and the Bermuda Tourism Authority [BTA] to host a series of question and answer sessions on the vendor and service provision opportunities SailGP is looking to fill, with the first session to take place today [Feb 24].
A spokesperson said, “SailGP will launch their Season 3 opener in Bermuda on May 14-15, 2022 and the Bermuda Economic Development Corporation has announced a series of opportunities for small and medium local businesses as well as entertainers.
“Starting this week, as part of the SailGP Steering Committee, BEDC has partnered with SailGP and the BTA to host a series of question and answer sessions on the vendor and service provision opportunities SailGP is looking to fill.
“SailGP has issued an RFP to identify local supplier/vendors in the following categories:
Staff Services:
- Food and Beverage – crew catering
- Laundry
- Transportation – airport transfers, transfers between site and hotels
Event Village Services:
- Local Entertainers – singers, musicians, DJs, presenters, performing + arts, commentators
- Food and Beverage vendors
- Retail vendors
- Furniture vendors
