$130,000 Raised For Ukraine Appeal So Far
The Bermuda Red Cross has raised $130,000 for its Ukraine appeal, including $728 from a group of students.
A spokesperson said, “We are at $130,000 for the Ukraine appeal. We are so grateful to the community for their generosity in supporting this disaster appeal.
“We received $728 from Year 7 girls at BHS who did extra chores around the house to raise funds for Ukraine. Residents from all walks of life are giving to the best of their ability which makes it even more heart warming.
“We are coming out of 24 months of sheer craziness and we have opened up our hearts to supporting those in a far worse situation than we will ever be.”
