BNA Senior Division: Storm & Lady Rams Win
The Bermuda Netball Association hosted two make-up senior league matches at the Bernard’s Park.
The Storm defeated the Docksiders 50 – 22. The Storm were led to victory by Nabiilah Nasir with 21 goals, Zakiyah Durham added 17 goals, and Amaya Burt scored 12 goals, with defending duo Debre Evans, and Jade Johnston named the team’s MVP, while Charlie Evans scored 14 goals for the Docksiders, with Laura Faulkner adding 8 goals, Kwame Harris was named the MVP.
North Village Lady Rams defeated the Lindos Tigers 42 – 32. Darrika Simons scored a game high 28 to lead the North Village Lady Rams the win, Hordyn Morris added 8 goals, and Zhanae Simmons scored 6 times, with Coriah Simmons named the MVP. The Lindos Tigers got 13 goals from Apryl Jackson, and Jahtuere Trott, while Charlene Gomez added 6 goals, Demiqua Daniels was named the MVP.
