Daley Wins Medals In Trials Selection Invite
Elan Daley recently competed in the Trials Selection Prep Invite, hosted by the North York Aquatic Club at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre Competition Pool.
Daley captured a gold, silver, and bronze medal in the meet.
Daley won the gold medal in the women’s 100m freestyle, touching the wall in a time of 56.82. She advanced to the final with the fourth fastest time in the preliminaries after clocking 56.87.
Following a time of 26.58 during the 50m freestyle preliminaries that saw her finish third, Daley captured the silver medal in the final by clocking a personal best time of 26.23.
The bronze medal came during the 50m butterfly final when she was clocked in a time of 28.59. Daley finished the preliminaries third with a time of 28.63.
After finishing fourth in the 200m freestyle preliminaries with a time of 2:03.04, Daley finished the final fifth after clocking 2:03.57.
Daley notched a personal best time of 34.26 during the 50m breaststroke final.
