Driver Arrested After Three Vehicle Collision
A 35-year-old man “has been arrested for driving whilst impaired” following a three vehicle collision in Shelly Bay on Sunday, the police have confirmed.

A police spokesperson said, “The thirty-five-year old male injured in a three vehicle collision on the North Shore Road, Shelly Bay, Hamilton Parish remains in hospital receiving treatment what is considered a serious head injury.
“He has been arrested for driving whilst impaired. The collision occurred around 8:30 a.m. yesterday, Sunday 6th March 2022.
“At the time the he was riding a motorcycle headed east on North Shore Road when he collided with one motor car and then a second. The bike and the second motorcar were left with extensive damage. Both motorcar drivers were unhurt.
Woman Released From Hospital After Another Collision
On a separate note, the police said, “Meantime the forty-two-year-old female involved in a single vehicle collision on the South Shore Road near the junction with Garden Drive, Paget, has been released from hospital after receiving treatment for injuries to her neck and back.
“The collision occurred around 10:10 a.m. when the vehicle in which she was a passenger, collided with a BELCO utility pole.
“Enquiries into both incidents remain ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call 211 or, the main police number, 295-0011.”
