Perinchief To Compete In World Championships
Jah-Nhai Perinchief will be competing in World Indoor Championships which will take place in Serbia later this month.
A spokesperson said, “The BNAA is pleased to advise that Jah-Nhai Perinchief has been awarded a placement in the World Indoor Championships due to take place in Belgrade, Serbia from March 18-20, 2022.
“His performance [16.91], although it placed him as top ranked in the world, did not meet the standard of 17.10m. Limited opportunities to compete in this event indoor as well as the short window he had available to qualify were factors impacting him achieving the standard. World Athletics made the decision to grant him a place in the Championships based on his performances this season.
“Notwithstanding this, we are confident that Jah-Nhai will compete in the World Indoor Championships to the best of his ability and will make Bermuda Proud.”
