Bobb Named Female Track Performer Of Week
Bermuda’s Caitlyn Bobb — who recently broke her school’s record in the 400m — was named America East Female Track Performer of the Week.
Bobb competes for the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and their report said, “UMBC track and field freshman Caitlyn Bobb was named America East Female Track Performer of the Week, the conference announced on Wednesday. Bobb set another school record in the 400m at the Mason Spring Invitational this past weekend.
“Bobb finished the race in first place with a time of 53.58 breaking Mercedes Tillman’s record of 54.58 set back in 2015. The time was the fastest by an America East runner this year by nearly three seconds.
“The Retrievers will continue the outdoor season this weekend at the Bucknell Outdoor Classic on Friday and Saturday, April 15-16.”
