Kristine Remedios To Speak At Chamber AGM
The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce announced this year’s Annual General Meeting panel keynote speaker will be Kristine Remedios, Head of Global Inclusion and Diversity for KPMG.
A spokesperson said, “The topic of discussion will be Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, a critical part of the growing focus on ESG.
“Kristine Remedios is responsible for leading the Inclusion and Diversity agenda across the organization in 146 countries and territories, and spearheading the implementation of KPMG’s Collective Action Plan, a set of practical steps KPMG firms will take to tackle injustice and inequality. Prior to that, Ms. Remedios was KPMG in Canada’s Chief Inclusion & Social Impact Officer where her vision and strategy was successful in leveraging the firm’s diversity for broader economic and social inclusion in the Canadian marketplace and communities.
“The Chamber’s AGM will take place virtually via Zoom on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 10:15-10:45am and is open to all current Chamber members only. The virtual Fireside Chat will follow shortly after, running from 11:00am to 12:30pm and is open to both members and non-members of the Chamber. The cost to attend the panel discussion is $25 for individual members and $250 for member watch parties. Non-member prices are $50 for individuals and $500 for a non-member watch parties.”
