Preservation Week Held From April 24 – 30

April 26, 2022

Minister of Education Diallo Rabain joined the Department of Libraries and Archives to celebrate the launching of Preservation Week.

A spokesperson said, “Minister Rabain was presented with historical documents tied to the ship The Rover, which mostly sailed between Boston and the West Indies that was captured by a Bermudian Privateer in 1798. The papers presented by Mrs Antoinette Butz and her son Ken Butz were donated to the Bermuda Archives, contributing to records of Bermuda’s maritime exploits.
