Registration Opens For Boat, Mooring Licenses

The Department of Marine and Ports, Boats and Moorings section advises that boat and mooring license annual registration commenced on April 1st, 2022, and the deadline for licensing renewals is midnight, Tuesday, May 31st, 2022.

A Government spokesperson said, “Boat and mooring owners are further advised to ensure they have the correct address on file with the Department. Transfers of boats or moorings must be done in person with a photo ID at the Department.

“Customers who need to update their address can call the Department at 294-0419/294-0420 or email: boatsandmoorings@gov.bm to update their details. Marine and Ports will provide customers with a link sent to their email, allowing owners to access their information online in the future. Renewal notices are no longer sent out. Fees are listed on the website at www.marineandports.bm.

“Customers can make payments:

  • Payment in-person- methods are cash, cheque or card [before 4:30 pm Tuesday, May 31st 2022]
  • Payment online can be processed through an individual’s account once they have signed up.
  • Cheque in the mail

“The Boats and Moorings Section has relocated to 108 Middle Road, Paget [Old Paget Post Office]. Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.”
