Stovell & Kempe Continue Strong Showing
Nicole Stovell and Sebastian Kempe continued to show their skill as they both took to the water to continue to compete in the RYA Youth Nationals, with the pair continuing to lead their fleets after the fourth day of action.
After ten races in the ILCA6 Class, Stovell leads the fleet with 28 points. Stovell finished fifth in the first race of the day and the seventh of the series. She then finished fourth in the second race of the day. She crossed the line fifth again in the third race before closing out with a fourth place finish in the final race of the day.
Kempe continues to dominate the ILCA6 Men’s Class. He crossed the line third in the first race of the day. A fifth place finish was accomplished in the second race of the day. Kemp sailed to victory in the third race of the day, before closing out with a second place finish in the final race of the day. Kemp leads the fleet with 13 points.
