Harbour Swimmers To Compete In Florida
The Harbour Swim Club’s Silver and Gold Squads will be competing in the T2 Aquatics Norris Foundation Meet in Naples, Florida.
The team is made up of 26 swimmers and ranges in age from 11 to 15. For many on the team, this will be their first overseas trip since 2019.
Head Coach of the Harbour Swim Club, Shona Palmer said, “This is the first overseas trip for many of our younger swimmers who have worked very hard in attaining the Silver or Gold Squad standard required to attend the meet. It will be a very exciting experience for them as they get the opportunity to race against different kids outside of Bermuda.”
The team will be accompanied by coaches Kris Cash, Charlotte Parkinson, and Ashley Yearwood and several chaperones.
