Garbage Collection Delayed By One Day
The Ministry of Public Works is advising that “due to the adverse weather conditions expected today [June 6] associated with Tropical Storm Alex, residential waste collection will be delayed by one day.”
A Government spokesperson said, “Garbage that would normally be collected on Monday 6 June will instead be collected on Tuesday, 7 June.
“Members of the public can still use the Tynes Bay public drop-off from 7.00am to 7.00pm, and all other waste management facilities will be open as normal.”
