Appleby Welcomes Students For Internships

Appleby has welcomed Bermudian university students for their 2022 summer internship programme, noting that the ”internships, ranging from two to 13 weeks, assigns each student with a mentor and places them in a legal practice area or support group department in the firm’s Bermuda office.”

A spokesperson said, “This year’s students are:

  • Corporate – Guielle Bean, completing a Bachelor of Laws at Nottingham Trent University; Max Blakeney, completing a Bachelor of Laws at The University of Buckingham; and Jada Rogers-Ingemann, a 2021 Appleby Bursary recipient, completing a Bachelor of Laws at University of Kent
  • Dispute Resolution – Zamauri Hardtman, completing a Bachelor of Laws at The University of Buckingham; Briana Medeiros, a 2021 Appleby Bursary recipient, completing a Bachelor of Science at University of Toronto; Milaun Perott, a 2021 Appleby Legal Education Scholarship recipient, completing a Graduate Diploma of Law at University of Law; and Zene Wade, a 2020 Appleby/Berkeley Institute Scholarship recipient, completing a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and Enterprise at Georgia State University
  • Private Client & Trusts – Ryley Tannock, completing a Legal Practice Course at University of Law
  • Human Resources – Eqypt Cann, a 2021 Appleby/Berkeley Institute scholarship recipient, completing a Bachelor of Business Administration at Temple University Fox School of Business and Charlotte Faries, completing a Bachelor of Education at Trinity Western University
  • Operations – Jordan Caisey, completing a Bachelor of Laws at University of the West of England; Kayla Caldwell, completing a Bachelor of Laws at University of Kent; Bryanna Furtado, completing a Bachelor of Marketing at Framingham State University; and Harley Rouwhorst, who recently completed a pre-Masters degree in International Law at Leiden University

Brad Adderley, Bermuda Managing Partner, said: “We are passionate about providing Bermudian students with ample opportunities to explore their career interests, particularly in the legal sector, at an early stage. I am pleased to welcome this year’s group of student interns, and hope they find their experience fulfilling and insightful.”
