Botelho Wins Ladies Match Play Championship
The Bermuda Ladies Match Play Championships was played this weekend at Port Royal Golf Course having been postponed in April.
“Fortunately, the weather conditions were very favorable which resulted in some very competitive play. Despite the fact that there was only one division, the matches were very exciting and very closely contested,” a spokesperson said.
“In the semi-final match Kim Botelho defeated Ebonie Burgess 1 Up and then proceeded to defeat the defending champion, Katrin Burnie 4 & 3 in a closely contested final match which finished on the 16th hole with both ladies making par.
