Video: Police Service Passing Out Ceremony
A Passing Out Ceremony was held at Police Headquarters in Prospect to officially welcome the island’s newest members of the Bermuda Police Service.
A police spokesperson said, “We would like to congratulate 21 of our newest family members. Recruit Foundation Course [RFC] 81 have successfully completed their 18-week training course. To mark the occasion, a Passing Out Ceremony was held at Police Headquarters in Prospect, Devonshire.
“In attendance was Her Excellency Ms. Rena Lalgie, Commissioner of Police Darrin Simons, Minister of National Security Michael Weeks JP MP, Shadow Minister of National Security and Health Michael Dunkley JP MP, Permanent Secretary for National Security Chris Farrow, Commanding Officer of the Royal Bermuda Regiment [RBR] Lt. Colonel Ben Beasley, RBR Honorary Colonel David Gibbons, Collector of Customs Mrs. Lucinda Pearman, DPP Cindy Clarke, Asst. Chief Fire Officer Troy Furbert, Commissioner of Corrections Keeva-Mae Joell-Benjamin, Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police Martin Weekes, Assistant Commissioner of Police Antione Daniels, Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police James Howard, Police Complaints Authority Chairman Mr. Jeffrey Elkinson, Reserve Commandant Sandra Beach, Police Chaplain.
