Washington Wins Bronze Medal At CCCAN

[Updated with video] Bermuda won another medal at the Central American and Caribbean Amateur Swimming Confederation [CCCAN] in Barbados, with Jesse Washington winning a bronze medal in the 200 meters freestyle final.

There were a number of other Bermuda swimmers in action during last night’s finals. During the 13-14 girls 50 meter butterfly final Imojen Judd finished 5th touching the wall in a time of 29.96, while Marleigh Howes finished 7th clocking 30.02.

Myeisha Sharrieff finished 5th competing in the 15-17 girls 50 butterfly final clocking 29.73. In the 18 and over boys 50 butterfly final, Washington finished 4th with a time of 25.83, while Caleb Ingham finished 6th touching the wall in a time of 26.43.

Judd competed in the 13-14 girls 200 meter individual medley final clocking a time of 2:35.82 finishing 6th, while Sharrieff was back in the pool for the 15-17 girls 200 meter individual medley final, she finished 6th with a time of 2:33.36.

Marleigh Howes finished 6th competing in the 13-14 girls 200 meter freestyle final clocking a time of 2:15.74, in the 15-17 girls 200 meter freestyle final, Tayla Horan finished 8th touching the wall in a time of 2:16.15, and in the 11-12 boys 200 meter freestyle final Conor Hupman finished 8th clocking a time of 2:14.23.

The 13-14 girls 4×100 meter medley relay final team of Elanna Fulton, Ava Pedro, Imojen Judd, and Marleigh Howes finished 6th with a time of 4:56.58.

Myeisha Sharrieff, Bella Howes, Taylor White, and Tayla Horan finished 6th with a time of 4:49.89 competing in the 15-17 girls 4×100 meter medley relay final.

In the 18&Over boys 4×100 meter medley relay final, Brian Desmond, Caleb Ingham, Brandon Adkins, and Finn Moseley finished 5th with a time of 4:21.54.
