BFA Announce U14 CFU Challenge Squad
The Bermuda Football Association [BFA] announced the travelling Bermuda U14 Boy’s squad for the upcoming 2022 Caribbean Football Union [CFU] U14 Challenge Series, which will take place between August 13-21 in the Dominican Republic.
Head Coach Vashun Blanchette said, “This is an exciting opportunity for the group as they are about to experience international football for the first time both on and off the field. It has been a pleasure leading this group over the past few months and I am confident that they will represent the island well.”
A spokesperson said, “Bermuda have been placed in [Tier 2] Group 1, with Barbados, Dominica, French Guiana, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Groups 1-3 in Tier 2 will play four matches in the group phases. The top teams will advance to playoffs matches, with the top four reaching the semifinals and the last two playing for the championship. The full schedule of the group matches will be released soon. - Defenders: Patrick Dill, Cameron Adkins, Mosiais Mills, Dakayo Leverock, Michael Burcher Logan Jimenez
- Midfielders: Sami Carolo, Callum McIntosh, D’ari Coddington, Kennahz Fray, Keori Binns-Leverock, Cavin White, Xenai Williams
- Forwards: Cairo Tucker, Tiago Correia, Azende Trott-Smith, Syhon Goater, Roger Williams
