DeSilva-Andrade & Hayward Advance To Semis
Yushae DeSilva-Andrade and Omar Hayward have both claimed victories and advanced to the semi finals at the Veldhoven World Boccia Challenger in the Netherlands.
In her opening event in the BC1 female pool B division, DeSilva-Andrade recorded two wins. She won her first match defeating Angeline Melissa Anak Lawas from Malaysia 10 – 2, and advanced to the semi-finals with a 4 – 3 win over Simona Blazkova from the Czech Republic. Omar award, who won a match yesterday, claimed another win to advance.
