Maycock & Joell Begin Pan Am Bowling In Brazil

David Maycock and Dennis Joell began competing in the Pan American Bowling Confederation Champion of Champions in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

On the first day, 15 countries competed in the Men’s Doubles looking for a spot in the 2023 Pan American Games.

After Eight Doubles Games, the Bermuda pair sit in 12th place with a total pin count of 3,209.

Maycock bowled 1,766 pins, with his best game of 258 coming in the seventh game.

Joell bowled 1,443 pins, his best game of 248 also came in his seventh game.

The United States leads with 3,710 pins, Costa Rica is second with 3,564 pins, and Guatemala is third with 3,530 pins.

Individually, Maycock is in 10th place with his score, while Joell is in 29th.
