Harveys Compete In Intra-Squad Meet
Penn State swimming‘s Blue/White Intra-Squad Meet concluded with a Jack Harvey’s white team winning by a single point over the Emma Harvey’s blue team 179 – 178, as the siblings competed on different teams.
Emma Harvey won the women’s 100 yard butterfly touching the wall in a time of 54.72, won the women’s 100 yard backstroke clocking 55.27, swam the third leg for the winning blue team in the women’s 200 yard medley relay clocking 1:43.28 and swam the third leg of the women’s 200 yard freestyle relay blue team that clocked a winning time of 1:35.56.
The white team won the men’s 200 yard medley relay, with a time of 1:33.31, which saw Jack Harvey lead them off.
Jack Harvey finished 3rd in the men’s 200 yard individual medley clocking a time of 1:57.31, and he also finished 3rd competing in the men’s 100 yard backstroke touching the wall in a time of 50.64.
